"St Gregory Palamas Praying 'Lord, Enlighten my darkness'," drawings for an icon, 2020
From March 2020, Stamatisa is working on the icon-painting of St. Gregory Palamas and his exceptional prayer "Lord, Enlighten my darkness". In the first drawing, the Saint is shown frontally, as he is praying kneeled in the wooden hut, while on the left we will see the coast with a cliff, the bell tower, and the top of Mount Athos.
