On Saturday 10the of May, 2014, in the theater “TRIANON” in Athens a movie with titled “THE ICONOGRAPHY IN LIGHT OF HOLINESS" was projected; with Stella Arkenti, as producer and Sotiria Adam as music director, showing the ARTISTIC WORK of Fr Stamatis Skliris. The speakers were: Fr. Petros Minopetros, film director, Haris Kambouridis, art critic, and Demetrios Kyriazis, psychiatrist. At the end of the event, Fr Stamaris Skliris signed the DVD of the movie on the spot, and drawn on each of them a sketch, a total of 60 drawings. Some of them are displayed here.

Το "ΔΑΚΡΥ ΤΟΥ ΣΥΝΝΕΦΟΥ" είναι μια ευαίσθητη Ινδιάνα που κατοικεί σε σκηνή στον καταυλισμό και μόλις ξυπνήσει το πρωί δροσ´ιζεται απ´ το δάκρυ του σύννεφου, χαιρετάει τον Ήλιο και μιλάει με τα λουλούδια. Κάποιοι άνθρωποι ξένοι πέρασαν απ´ τον καταυλισμό έριξαν ντουφεκιες και τραυμάτισαν το αριστερό της μάτι. από Τότε κοιτάζει λοξά προς τα δεξιά και προσπαθέι να χωρέσει όλο τον κήπο της γης μέσα στο δεξί της βλέμμα.

A few days ago (19-5-2020) a pencil drawing with a 7.5 X 4.5 inches was found, which is a self-portrait of Fr. Stamatis Skliris. It was designed on a white page of the book "CINQ CENTS AUTOPORTRAITS" published by PHAIDON and has the signature of Fr. S.S., dated 14-5-11 and the note "2nd self-portrait". No first self-portrait is known.

Silently, they accept their place on the margins, where life has compressed them, trodden upon by the heel of destiny. They bear witness to a somber tragedy that refuses to fade away. They are mute, passive observers, subjected to circumstances beyond their control.
